The 'Murder on the Orient Express' Trailer Is Full of Suspicious Famous Faces

Sidney Lumet's 1974 adaptation of Agatha Christie's novel Murder on the Orient Express was a cornucopia of famous actors, snappy dialogue, and a war between Sean Connery's eyebrows and mustache over control of his face.

Now, Kenneth Branagh is bringing Christie's 1934 landmark detective story back to the big screen, and he's stacking the cast list with A-listers once again. The new movie stars Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Willem Dafoe, Judi Dench, Penélope Cruz, Daisy Ridley, and more. Branagh himself will be stepping in front of the camera to play the book's hero, Hercule Poirot—and his facial hair gives Sean Connery's a run for its money.

The story follows Piorot as he tracks a trail of clues surrounding the murder of a fellow Orient Express passenger while the train is stranded in a snowbank during their trip.

Another of Christie's famous murder mystery books, And Then There Were None, was adapted into a pretty solid TV miniseries by the BBC back in 2015, but Orient Express marks the author's return to the big screen.

Murder on the Orient Express lands in theaters November 10. Give the trailer a watch above.
