Throughout the years, White House administrations have waged wars on various domestic issues: from slavery to alcohol to drugs to obesity. Over the weekend, President Donald Trump started one of his own—a war on sports that could potentially alienate his conservative base.
In the past few days, Trump used Twitter to rescind NBA star Stephen Curry's invite to the White House and attack all the NFL players who followed in Colin Kaepernick's footsteps by taking a knee during the national anthem.
