The Entrepreneur Helping Students Access College Scholarships with an App

On The VICE Guide to Right Now, VICE's daily podcast, we delve into the biggest news of the day and give you a rundown of the stories we're reading, working on, and fascinated with.

Today we run through how the right is responding to last week's high school shooting in Florida that killed 17, from Marco Rubio to the NRA to President Trump, and the $3.5 million settlement Washington, DC, reached with the family of Terrence Sterling, an unarmed black motorist who was fatally shot by a cop in 2016.

Then we're talking to another black entrepreneur for our Black History Month series named Christopher Gray, who founded the app Scholly. After earning $1.3 million in scholarships toward his college education, Gray developed the app to make the process easier for other students around the country.
