On this episode of 'Daily VICE,' we speak with lieutenant officers Richard Epps and Curt Bagby at the La Paz County Jail in Parker, Arizona where VICE's James Burns voluntarily placed himself in solitary confinement for 30 days. We talk to the officers about how the practice is often mistaken for making jails safer, when in reality it does the opposite and about the repercussions of isolating people from human contact.
