Multiple people were injured at a high school in Santa Clarita, California, on Thursday morning, according to city officials.
Reports of the shooting at Saugas High School came through before 8.00 a.m. local time.
As of 8:30 a.m, the suspect was still at large and the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department described the scene as an “active shooter situation.”
Saugus High School is located about 35 miles north of downtown Los Angeles. Neighboring elementary schools were placed on lockdown.
