When someone offers you the chance to tour with Drake, most budding musicians would jump at the opportunity full-force. But not G-Eazy. Instead, the rapper decided that it was more important to graduate than continue the entire length of the tour, which, of course, is a difficult choice to make.
During Thursday's episode of Desus & Mero, G-Eazy talked about ditching Drake and how it ultimately worked in his favor. He still managed to secure a high profile music career, after copping his diploma.
"I've hated school from day one," he told the VICELAND hosts. "But I was like, 'If I'm gonna finish something, I'm gonna finish something.'"
G-Eazy also told Desus and Mero about smoking weed, his worst job, his many Bay Area influences, and the awkward moment his mom caught him having sex in high school.
You can watch Thursday night's Desus & Mero for free online now, and be sure to catch new episodes weeknights at 11 PM on VICELAND.
