If Mark Zuckerberg is planning a run for office, calling out Donald Trump is a surefire way to gain some public support. Responding to Trump's Tuesday tweet accusing Facebook of bias, Zuckerberg posted a 350-word defense Wednesday, noting he's building a "community for everyone."
"Trump says Facebook is against him. Liberals say we helped Trump. Both sides are upset about ideas and content they don't like," Zuckerberg said. "That's what running a platform for all ideas looks like."
The internet billionaire highlighted the important role Facebook played in the 2016 vote, including helping candidates spread their message, which he said was "1000x more than any problematic ads we've found."
