In VICELAND's new series JUNGLETOWN, we document one American entrepreneur's dream to construct a sustainable community from scratch in the heart of the Panamanian jungle. With help from a handful of staff members, Jimmy Stice recruits dozens of "interns" to follow him into the jungle and help bring his vision to life.
In "Welcome to the Jungle," the show's first episode, we meet the young people dropping everything for a fresh start at Stice's Kalu Yala and learn about what's pulling them towards the jungle. Once they arrive, the hard work of fixing leaky roofs, finding clean water, and building outhouses begins—and some start to wonder if they've made a mistake.
