While college football is widely popular, there are many people, like NFL star Arian Foster, who are adamantly against it.
During Wednesday night's Desus & Mero, Desus asked the former running back about his thoughts on the NCAA. Foster, who has been extremely vocal about how problematic college football is, explained that he believes it's not right that young players aren't paid to play.
"I hate NCAA," the former football player said. "I don't even like watching it because I feel like I'm supporting thieves."
Like many NCAA critics, Foster believes that there is something inherently wrong with a system in which coaches make millions of dollars each year, while the players go unpaid. He also explained that—thanks to brand power—the NCAA has changed rapidly from when it was originally created.
On a lighter note, Foster also talked about hanging out with Mero in Dyckman, legalizing weed, and whether or not he would get in a fight with a wolf—and win.
