Like many other American citizens, Donald Trump stepped outside to watch Tuesday's rare solar eclipse. However, instead of heeding widespread safety advice, the president decided to forgo his protective glasses and looked directly into the sun—which is, of course, dangerous and frowned upon. But later that night, Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson applauded the effort, declaring Trump's choice to burn his retinas as the "most impressive thing any president's ever done."
